LA JUSTE FANFARE À SAISIR : Portrait de Raoul Hausmann en 21 pièces collées

Présentation

Raoul Hausmann est l’une des figures majeures du dadaïsme berlinois. Comme bon nombre d’artistes avant-gardistes dont les productions sont dites « dégénérées », Hausmann quitte l’Allemagne en 1933, année où Hitler prend le pouvoir. Face au joug nazi, il s’exile dans différents pays européens pour finalement se réfugier en Haute-Vienne au début de la Seconde Guerre. Il s’y installera définitivement. Jusqu’à sa mort, survenue en 1971, il ne cessera de peindre, écrire, danser, vociférer, coller, assembler, photographier, gribouiller, rager…

Il s’agit, dans cette conférence, de brosser un portrait réaliste et fantasmé de Raoul Hausmann, en s’appuyant sur quelques textes inédits écrits lorsqu’il vit retiré à Limoges (textes autobiographiques, poétiques, littéraires et théâtraux) et joués sur le plateau.

 Marta Jonville et Sophie Goullieux ont réalisé une performance autonome au sein même de la conférence, en réaction à l’oeuvre du dadasophe.

Raoul Hausmann is one of the major figures of the Berlin dadaism. Following the example of a lot of avant-gardist artists whose productions are qualified as « degenerate », Hausmann left Germany in 1933, when Hitler took power. In front of Nazi yoke, he exiled in various European countries to take refuge finally in Haute-Vienne during the Second War (Centre of France). He settled there definitively. Until he died, in 1971, he didn’t stop painting, writing, dancing, shouting, sticking, assembling, photographing, scribbling, fuming …

In this conference, the question is to paint Raoul Hausmann’s portrait, resting on some unpublished texts written in Limoges ( autobiographical, poetic, literary and theatrical texts).

With: Xavier Huneau, Delphine Jonas, Julie Martigny, Marc Planceon and the collaboration of Virginie Ansara.

Two artists, Marta Jonville and Sophie Goullieux, collaborated at the conference by realizing a performance within the conference.
